Biologists conducting CRAM assessment

Congratulations to Olivia Arredondo for completing the California Rapid Assessment Method (CRAM) Practitioner training course for Riverine and Depressional Wetlands! CRAM requires at least two trained practitioners to conduct assessments, and Artemis can now offer in-house CRAM services with our two trained CRAM practitioners, Olivia and Jasmine Bakker!

CRAM is a cost-effective and scientifically defensible rapid assessment method for monitoring the conditions of wetlands throughout California. CRAM is often required by the regulatory agencies to evaluate the functional capacity of wetlands potentially affected by a project pre- and post-construction and is often used to project the expected functional lift associated with implementation of a wetland mitigation plan.
