Artemis Environmental has teamed with Gothic Landscape to support the success of habitat restoration activities for a linear gas line project near Mesquite, Nevada. The project alignment spans 18 miles across U.S. Bureau of Land Management- administered land in Lincoln County and private land and associated public road right-of-way in Lincoln and Clark Counties. The plan to restore and revegetate the project area was developed in accordance with guidelines from federal, state and local agencies, including the BLM, United States Fish and Wildlife Service, National Resource Conservation Service and the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection.

Artemis Environmental is leading vegetation restoration monitoring efforts which include transect evaluations, weed infestation mapping, yucca and cacti transplant survivorship surveys, photo point monitoring, and visual assessments to help direct maintenance activities, performed by Gothic Landscape.  Data collected from the monitoring efforts are evaluated and reported to Southwest Gas on a quarterly and annual basis.
