Artemis Environmental, in partnerships with AECOM, Jacobs, and Environmental Intelligence (EI), is providing biological services for Southern California Edison (SCE)’s projects in various counties throughout California. Artemis Environmental biologists have completed fieldwork including habitat assessments, vegetation mapping, sensitive species surveys, and aquatic resource delineations to support environmental compliance, habitat restoration and permitting efforts for projects involving subtransmission lines, pipelines, Infrastructure Replacement (IR) and Transmission Line Remediation and Rating (TLRR) Programs, and various other Operations and Maintenance activities. Additionally, we’ve completed desktop analyses for deteriorated pole projects located on BLM and USFS lands using GIS data, aerial imagery, site photographs, and public databases to determine potential impacts to waters and biological resources and identify applicable avoidance measures from SCE’s standard biological measures for incorporation into an environmental clearance request. Recent projects include teaming with Jacobs on the Eagle Mountain-Blythe 161-kV TLRR Project, with EI on the Havasu-Landing-Whipple 66-kV Subtransmission Line IR Project, and with AECOM on the Rancho Vista CEQA Support Project.
